Josh Beckley, President of Beckley Harvesting Inc., credits the company's success to its strong Christian values, integrity, commitment to hard work, and pride in their craftsmanship.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.  Philippians 1:6

Welcome to Beckley Harvesting! Since our inception with a single International combine in 1955, we have confidently expanded to a powerful operation featuring six combines, six tractors and thirteen trucks. We take pride in our ability to harvest crops with unmatched quality and efficiency. Thank you for joining us on this remarkable journey!

Our Story

Beckley Harvesting was founded in 1955 when Duane Beckley traveled south with an International combine.  Over the past 70 years, the business has expanded and continues to thrive as a family-run operation with sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.  Duane's son, Chet, began driving a Gleaner G combine full-time at age 11 and made his first investment in a combine and truck in 1980.  Chet's sons, Josh, Zach and Jake, grew up on the harvest run, starting their full-time roles as combine and tractor drivers at age 11.  Josh purchased his first combine and truck in 2005, followed by Zach in 2007 and Jake in 2010.  They represent the third generation working in some of the same wheat fields that their grandfather harvested many years ago.

Equipment

Claas Combines

We operate six Claas Lexion 8600TT combines, equipped with features designed to deliver top-notch performance for farmers while minimizing operator stress and fatigue.  Some of the features include GreenStar navigation for yield mapping and shared field data, LED lighting, Powercast tailboards, and power lids, among others.  With today's cutting-edge technology and optimal efficiency, we ensure the highest quality product.  Our machines can harvest over 200 acres of wheat in a single day!

Tractors

We utilize Fendt 900 series tractors along with Unverferth and Brent Avalanche grain carts, all featuring electronic scales.  These grain carts can unload 1,000 bushels of grain in approximately 90 seconds.  By having a skilled operator and a grain cart available in the field, we significantly reduce combine downtime.  A proficient grain cart driver is essential for maintaining  efficient operation in the field.

Trucks

Our truck fleet includes 13 semi-trucks designed to transport grain, machinery and headers with different types of trailers.  A majority of our trucks are Peterbilt.  The reason is because Peterbilt manufactures the industry’s longest-lasting, highest-quality trucks to ensure they are built “right the first time.” Additionally, we have 3 service trucks outfitted with welders, air compressors, tools, fluids, parts and other essentials for field operations.

Employment

If you are a conscientious and careful worker with good work habits, self-motivation, and not afraid of hard work, and if you enjoy a family-type environment, working with Beckley Harvesting may be the employment opportunity for you.  Apply today.

Beckley Harvesting recruits crew members from across the United States and various countries.   Past participants have included individuals from Australia, England, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Belgium, Germany and Denmark.  If you possess a genuine sense of care and respect for those around you, prioritize safety, adhere to company policies and are eager to learn and follow instructions, we encourage you to apply.  Applicants must be at least 18-years old and able to commit to the entire harvest season, which runs from April/May through November.  Join us for an incredible opportunity to acquire valuable skills, discover the beauty of Midwest America, connect with friends from around the world, and create unforgettable memories.
